The Classic Planning and Lit Charleston teams seamlessly blended to create a luxurious, yet garden party aesthetic at Cotton Hall. This bed and breakfast turned wedding venue is located in Yemassee, a small town nestled in between Beaufort, Savannah, and Charleston. Dozens of oak trees and waterfront views create the perfect setting for such a special milestone. Jess and Blake dreamed of a romantic outdoor wedding full of texture and neutral colors, which was skillfully executed through different lighting, prints, fabrics, floral design, and curated stationary.

The ceremony took place in the front lawn under one of the largest oak trees on the property, perfectly decorated with spanish moss. Choosing pews over a more traditional ceremony chair created a sense of whimsy and allowed more room to play with floral accents. Jess and Blake’s ceremony was short and sweet, and filled with love.

Following the ceremony, the Classic team guided guests down the avenue of oaks where they each received a full glass of bubbly which was rimmed with their seating assignment. Music from an acoustic string duo filled the air as the sun began to set, making it the perfect time to begin the reception.

Dinner and dancing was hosted under a gorgeous white sailcloth tent, which was accented with cafe lighting and a chandelier installation covered with greenery. Mixing table sizes and shapes, while incorporating prints and luxurious textures ensured dimension throughout the space.

Jess and Blake’s inspiration and their trust for the Classic Planning process allowed for flawless production and timeless results.
